We are excited to announce the appointments of Andrew Dibb, Kate Andrews, Mark Armstrong and Zoe Booth to our new Chief Examiner Group. They will be joining Mervyn Cousins, who has already been appointed as the chair of the group, as announced earlier in the year.

All four share significant experience as examiners but also bring their own different musical skills and perspectives to the group – Andrew as an educator, adjudicator and organist; Kate as a music therapist, oboist and teacher; Mark as a jazz and commercial trumpet player, composer and teacher; and Zoe as a flautist and teacher.

Together, our five Chief Examiners will collectively lead, support and guide the wider team of examiners, share their insight and knowledge with teachers and learners, and contribute to the development of our music assessment provision.

The Chief Examiner Group will be fully formed by the first week of October and we look forward to welcoming and working with all the new members very soon.
